Sent one to KC!
Sent a Baer/Severns custom to KC for his recommended scope mount and a new Kart barrel. Looking forward to trying this mount. I like the look and how low it mounts the scope. I'll shim up a 1 inch tube in the 30mm rings. With luck He'll post some pictures here!

Ax,
Shimming 30mm to 1inch is usually risky even for a .22 rimfire, but is asking for trouble in a .45.
I advise using the proper rings for the sight.
I doubt if Mr Crawford would approve.

Thanks for the concern there Jerry. "Shim" may not have been the proper term. I think Brownell's calls them ring liners. So far as using 1 inch rings the mount we are using has integral 30mm rings. KC recommended I use the EGW Delrin insert. http://www.egwguns.com/index.php?p=product&id=802keep I'll keep a close eye on the scope...

KC has good pictures on his web site. As soon as I have it in hand I'll post some here.

Can't say enough good things about KC's work and the frame mount he uses. Shot mine in competition for the first time today. Shot a 194-7 slow fire match and won with a 1750. It was a 3-gun 1800. My CF and .45 scores were 577 and 586 and sighted the gun in during the CF match with ammo I made last night. Once I tune the short line load a bit more I am sure my scores will improve. The recoil and the fact that the red dot is closer to the bore line make this gun wonderful to shoot.
