Re: Wolfe Match Target
Thanks for the heads-up.
But is that stuff really worth $75 a brick?

IMHO it is the best of the cheap stuff. Ok, not cheap cheap but not 20.00 for a box of 50 that only 20 people can tell the difference. It always goes bang and is extremely accurate. It is messy but that is a big part of why it functions so well. That was why I had it backordered.

there will be no cheap 22 anymore imo, unless they flood the market, the cci paperbox that sold fot 25.00 a brick is now 40.00 a brick, wolfe is ok, but you can buy eley club for 75.00 and its way better imo. wolfe is made by sk, and some don't like the oily film they have too.

Re: Wolfe Match Target
$75 a brick is WAY too high!
2 months ago Champions Choice had Wolf Match Target for under $500 a case/$535 delivered, it took them a week to sell out about 50 cases.

Norma Tac is an excellent ammo. I've used it in my Pardini SP.
CSS also has Eley Target for a lot less than the Wolf Match Target. Its probably a better performing ammo too.

I have had lot to lot issues with wolf match target.
Too finicky for me to buy a brick just to hope it functions.
Never had a problem so far with CCI SV from lot to lot.

Just curious what gun? It works flawless through both my Marvel and Nelson's - several lots.

It works flawless for me also in my 41's. It is also one of the very few ammos that works in cold weather for me. The slick coating doesn't get waxy like some of them do. It is my go to ammo for the winter league. My pistols will eat almost anything in the summer but get finicky in the cold.

Re: Wolfe Match Target
I had some issues in my M41 back when I still had it.
One lot brick would be fine and purchased another from a different lot and you could tell from the recoil that it was underpowered.
Put the rest of it through my rifle.
Also had the same problem in my Marvel a few years ago.
Sold the weak lot to someone else.
I still have a couple bricks of CCI SV left and mainly shoot Center X, also have some Eley red, black and orange that functions fine also.
