Group shooting with the SCATT
It was -7 this morning. I didn't feel like packing my gear and heading to the range so I was trying to think of another way to get through the Marine Corps Pistol Training Guide without live fire.
I took out the SCATT set it up for a slow fire 50 yard target. Set up my hardball gun and "zeroed" it.
Then I put the target in backwards so it was blank. Turned the PC screen away so I couldn't see the individual results and began my slow fire drill only looking at the PC screen/results after every 10 shots. I shot 10 targets and the results improved quite a bit. In fact I "shot" some of my highest SCATT scores ever. I'm sure because there was no target to peek at. This is another reason to adapt to a sub six hold, less target gazing.
This is now in my training routine - high tech dry fire!

Just picked up a Scatt last week and shot my first 10round practice with it. Got me a Clean. Its nice to know my hold is a 10ring hold.

I found it intuitive and quite easy.
This video will give you a good idea what it's all about.

Although it's based on the Rika system, I have a page describing a trigger training setup I use. If you're interested, the page can be found here:

You may be able to set up the Scatt in a similar fashion.
