CCI Subsonic??? Empty CCI Subsonic???

Post by GrumpyOldMan 1/3/2015, 8:48 pm

ne LGS I was in the other day had what looked a lot like CCI SV in the plastic 100-pack. I had just decided to turn it down at the princely sum of $15.99 a 100 when I noticed it said "Subsonic". Nevah hoid uvvit in that brand, think it's redundant since SV is subsonic out of rifles anyway.

Anyone know anything about it???

Winchester Super-X now has a 40-gr plated HP now (all I've ever seen before was 38-gr). Interesting times. Only $14.99 per 100 for that stuff.

You do realize that is $.15/round and even CV is going for less than or equal to $.10/round? Additionally, this might not cycle a semiautomatic.

We keep it on the range for the oooh and ahh factor but It doesn't cycle our suppressed range Ruger 22/45s.

I used to shoot varmints with my bolt action .22 with those rounds.  It makes the gun sound like an air rifle.  I wouldn't pay big money for them.  I don't think they are anything special.
