Question for Wisconsin shooters ?
Just moved to and settling in Wisconsin.
Question; do I need to join Wisconsin FORCE just as I was a member of the Arizona rifle and pistol association when shooting in Arizona ?
Is Wisconsin FORCE the same as Wisconsin rifle and pistol association ?
I am thinking it is but want to confirm before I cut the check.
Thanks;
Clarence

Re: Question for Wisconsin shooters ?
It's not Wiforce, it's Wisconsin FORCE which is an acronym for
Firearm
Owners
Ranges
Clubs &
Educators
It is the Wisconsin state association of the NRA, and was formerly the Wisconsin Rifle & Pistol Association.
Most matches do not require membership in Wisconsin FORCE, but you do need to belong to Wisconsin FORCE in order to shoot in team matches at Camp Perry, or get Camp Perry lodging with the team.
I recently became Bullseye Director for Wisconsin FORCE. If you are interested going to Camp Perry with us, let me know.

Re: Question for Wisconsin shooters ?
Thanks guys for the confirmation.
No real plans for Perry this year Rob and congrats on the BE director position.
Rich, we will need to go shooting sometime.
Was in Tomah yesterday picking up some smokes at Whitetail crossing/ Hochunk.
I found an outdoor range not far from my home which goes from 25-300 yds, need to check it out.
Do you know of anywhere close to us other than M&M sports ?

Re: Question for Wisconsin shooters ?
I belong to the Sparta Rod & Gun Club, have pistol at 7, 15, 25 and 50 yards, rifle at 100 yards, all covered. A good place for reloading supplies is Ace Hardware in Tomah. Know where M&M is, been in the shop there a few times. Don't know of any leagues here, I just shoot for fun and don't compete anymore. There is some sort of shooting club South of New Lisbon off of Hwy 82(?) headed south to Elroy but don't know what they have for ranges. Camp Douglas also has a club with rifle and pistol ranges but haven't ben there in a long time. I like the Sparta club, open year round and membership is only $25 a year, $10 if 62 or over. Only negative to WI is the weather limits shooting in the winter.
