What needs to be lubricated on a .22 conversion such as a Nelson? What lube are you using?

I use nothing on the rails.  Wipe extractor, firing pin, firing pin channel with lightly oiled cloth or small swab.  One drop on recoil spring guide. Very minimal and light wipe on the trigger components.

I've come to the conclusion that a conversion runs the longest if you give the powder and primer residue nothing to stick to.  Brush the breech face and barrel face, a blast of air from the compressor inside the frame and a drop inside the hammer towards the hooks in between break down cleaning.  Pull a patch through the bore when it seems to be needed and a drop or two of kroil in between patches.

And I generally only break down clean twice a year.

Magazines on the other hand....keep an eye on them and clean as needed...completely.

I lubricate with CLP to avoid buildup.
