Model 41 trigger too light
Just bought a really nice 1960s vintage Model 41. Shoots great, but the trigger is under 2 lbs. I've moved the trigger adjustment bar, but it still doesn't make weight. Also, the trigger pin starts to back out after shooting about 50 rounds or so. What parts can I replace to increase the pull? And, any suggestions on getting the pin to stay in? Will a new (stiffer) trigger spring help? New trigger adjustment bar?
Thanks,
Sam

Will it dry fire without the magazine in? If it does then someone reversed the magazine spring and needs to be flipped over.

Nope. Will not dry fire without a magazine.

Strike 1. Possibly trigger spring ($10.00) or sear spring ($5.00). They have them here.

I don't know what to say about the pin. It takes an act of congress to move mine halfway out.

Thanks. I think I'll also call S&W tomorrow. Maybe they can help as well.

I would wait for the real Gunsmiths on this forum to chime in first.
