Does anyone know anything about the High Standard Dura-Matic? Is the grip and grip angle the same as a 1911? How does this model compare to the Victor or Trophy models?

It isn't in the same ball park as the other models you mention. It is a plinker. If looking for a Hi Standard, besides the ones you mention, the Citation model is extremely good, just a dull finish. The Sharpshooter is a good option, especially if you are going to mount a scope. For Hi Standard pistols, I like the "military grip" and barrel mounted with a push button. I would avoid the Mitchell Hi Standards. The Texas made ones have been hit and miss.
