" Shall we play a game? "

The shooters on this forum never get a chance for all of us to come together and shoot one great big match. I propose that I would like the active shooting members of this forum to send me their registered or sanctioned match results for the month of May, 2015. I only want the scores of the .22 EIC, DSR, EIC and Reeves. As an additional bit of information I would like to know what you shot the score with. I don't want your name or sign-in name. I think this would be a great way to find out where you stand with the rest of the shooters that are still active in this sport and on this forum. At the end of May I would post the top 10% of the scores in each category. I realize that everyone will not get a chance to fire the above courses of fire. What I would like is that you send me your NMC results if you fired It with the correct pistol and ammo. I suppose that one of the computer Gurus on this forum could turn it into a poll instead of sending the results to me. The rules are simple.

1. Fire the NMC in the .22 match with the pistol and ammo you would shoot in the EIC match. Start from the International ready position.

2. Fire the NMC in the Centerfire match with either the pistol you plan on shooting for DSR or your EIC match with the correct ammo for that match.

3. Fire the NMC in the .45 match with your .45 EIC pistol with ammo that you will shoot in EIC match.

4. Fire the Reeves match with any legal pistol and ammo or fire it with your DSR pistol and report as DSR if fired with correct ammo.

5. Competition is open to all forum members ( distinguished shooters welcome)

6. Competition is for the entire month of May. If you fire more than one match send those results also.

7. Send me a text, e-mail or PM with the scores.

This month long survey/contest will answer several questions 1. Which pistol are the best shooters shooting to get in the top 10% 2. Will your scores make it in the top 10% 3. If you do make it in the top 10% is that good enough to make the mandatory score.

I'm only using my EIC ammo for all my 1800/2700s to get ready for EIC matches and my 22 is iron sights until I go distinguished.

That training strategy has worked for a lot of shooters. You are on the road!

Last weekend for scores. It doesn't matter if you shot good or bad. All scores posted without names.

The final results are in. I think this was a good idea but I didn't have very many scores reported. I might have picked the wrong month (still winter) or not many people wanting to play. Either way here is what I have. This is not the top 10%. It is all the reported scores.

If you really are a sharpshooter, you won't be for long if you keep nailing a 269 with a ball gun!  

I shoot the ball gun with ball ammo for CF and .45....that's one of the reasons it has taken me so long.

I can't wait until I leg out so I can shoot those super light triggers and red dots like the rest of the shooters!
