.22 EIC match procedure questions

Anyone know exactly when the .22 eic match will be placed in the match ? Do I need to be shooting the 2700 to be able to shoot .22 eic ?

Camp Butner was at the beginning of May and didn't include a 2700 so I assume you mean Camp Perry.

The 2700 National Championship events are NRA.  The SAFS/M9 Match, Service Pistol EIC Match, .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Match and NTI/NTT/P100 Matches are CMP. NRA and CMP are separate registrations so you do not have to shoot the 2700 to shoot .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC.

The .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Match is on Tuesday July 7 according to the Camp Perry calendar.

I believe I meant dprc not Butner anyway.
My question is when does the .22 eic match take place.
A friend in NY says one of their matches,  the .22 eic will be fired between .22 portion and CF portion of the 2700.
Don't know if I like that. Anyone know ?

Likely, the 22 EIC will be fired at the end. EICs are okay to enter without shooting the 2700. On two day matches, there are often relays on both days. Shooters may only enter one.

This Sunday's match in Gibbsboro, NJ is also holding a 22 EIC between the 22 & CF.

So someone who wants to shoot eic has to be there first thing in the morning.  Plus the the shooters who are not shooting eic have break their rhythm and sit for a while longer than a normal break. Still don't like it.

I understand not doing it first as, for me, I'll have to take the dot off of my 22 to shoot the EIC. I'd rather not shoot the conventional after the EIC since there's a chance that the zero could be off a bit after re-installing the dot.
