You saw it here first:)
The very end of my back log..
The last gun is finished and will be picked up by the customer next week... Basic wadcutter gun...Now I can focus full time, on experimenting with my two shooters..

Well....... If the customer decides to change they're mind, just give me a callĀ
Kidding aside that thing is beautiful, how long was the wait on that?

At one time, I was backed up three years.. Jack Weigand, my sponsor to the Guild, once said... "Be careful what you wish for"... What a relief to be free.. I am looking forward to R&D, and making some more 38/45 fast twist barrels and catching up with the backlog in my yard..Grass and trees..

Wow nice gun, big loss to the bullseye shooters that need the expertise of gun builders like you.

I'm hoping your R&D period will come with a travelogue. Your pictures and explanations remind me of Honda SAE papers, which are usually a few leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the automotive field, even if they went down a path that proved unfruitful, such as oval pistons.

P.S. I wonder if a slide supplier ever considered offering a slide with an integral rail. The simple clean lines of the pistol pictured made that idea come up along with remembering the options Caspian offers for their slides.

That's how we learn...The automotive industry / technology has advanced by leaps and bounds..
I have always been discouraged by..."That's how we've always done it." Barrel makers have told me that thousands of time.. Or " The 45 shoots good enough as it is."
When we stop striving, we are standing still..That is Al Marvel's rib..I think it's the best rib available.. Marine Corp tested..

Being that Jerry used to work on race cars no surprises he's always pushing the envelope, and to the benefit of the Bullseye community!
I would be happy to wait 3 years or more for w work of art like that.
