HELP NEEDED!

The COO of my company asked me to give a speech about competing in bullseye pistol. I thought this would also be a great chance to promote the sport.

I need help with talking points, interesting facts, history, origin, ect.

Why do you shoot bullseye pistol?

Why should other people try bullseye pistol over other shooting sports?

Anything else I'm forgetting?

I would probably start by pointing out that the vast majority of people that already shoot pistols are shooting Bullseye, they just don't know it. Standing in one place, trying to hit what they consider a relatively small target at what they consider a long distance. The formal sport of Precision Pistol is just a little more challenging way of doing that in such a manner that we can keep score...

I don't know what you do at your job, but I would try to find ways to relate it to your work or company ideals. For example, there is a lot of science, engineering, metallurgy, as well as sportsmanship, zen, integrity, and self-reliance involved in bullseye. Perhaps explain briefly what is involved from making the bullet all the way to punching a hole in a piece of paper 50 yards away.
