Gsp........
One gun that I haven't heard talked about to much is a Walther's GSP/Expert. I don't have one but the ones I have shot seemed nose heavy, but not bad. Anyone have one? Likes or dislikes?

Re: Gsp........
Hi
I do not own one but shot a friend of mine has an older GSP at our club. I really liked the gun especially at the 25 yard line. The way it recoiled helped me come back on target quickly and consistently.
Yes I felt it was nose heavy as well. Also, the magazines cut my thumb when loading them. I would suggest using the loading tool that comes with the gun.
He has the gun for sale for $1,000 with ultradot 1" mounted on it.
He switched to a marvel conversion on a dedicated lower to help boost his 45 scores.

Knightimac, Did your friend's scores decline on the 22 portion from changing?
Thanks 38Super for the link.

Yes his 22 scores did go down since going to conversion. 45 scores improved. We are both marksmen so not very accomplished.

All the top shooters used to be a marksman. That's why the rest of us keep at it.

I own and shoot a GSP Expert and love it. It is a little nose heavy, but i put an Ultra Dot Match Dot 2 on it and it balances really nice. I shoot CCI SV and Aguila Super extra SV not one malfunction yet after about 4500 rounds.

I have a GSP in both .22 and .32. I find them a bit nose heavy, particularly the .32 but I'm liking them. The gun sits low in the hand and the recoil recovery is quick. I've only started Bullseye this season but I seem to be able to put down 275's in competition, a little less with the .32

Starting my 5th year of league and some match shooting with my GSP Expert. Have had only one alibi that turned out to be a dud round. Excellent reliability and easy maintenance.
