9mm RO Recoil Spring Help
Windlogic's thread spurred a question. What is the best weight RS to ensure good consistent lockup and reliable ejection for a 5" 9mm RO? I'm anticipating replacing mine as I'm approaching 2000 rounds.

Re: 9mm RO Recoil Spring Help
Recoil spring weight is related to pistol build! Properly fit match barrel will use lighter recoil spring than a stock loose fit barrel. Match fit barrel engages slide lugs better and retards the slide velocity more than a loose factory drop in barrel. Having said that, I believe the heaviest recoil spring that allows good reliable function from your pistol is best. Sometimes if you drop the spring weight a pound it will soften felt recoil from slide going back into battery.

Re: 9mm RO Recoil Spring Help
I think the RO uses a heavier than normal mainspring, so that may change the weight of recoil spring used.
