Pre 2000 Buckmark firing pin?
Maybe my favorite 22 target pistol:
The firing pin in my pre-2000 Buckmark "Target" model broke today. Browning part # is B5152657.-Looks like it might be obsolete Any idea where to find this firing pin?
It's flat steel-I'll make one with file if I have to. Is there a way to weld the broken one so it's reliable?--
Numrich part #536240 A or B.-but they don't have any & no one else does. I'll try to contact Browning Monday., buBrownells doesn't have one. - MGW doesn't have one.
Thanks, Russ

Re: Pre 2000 Buckmark firing pin?
Striplin Custom Gunworks currently lists them as sold out on his website (StriplinCustom.com), but in some emails I exchanged with him, he said he's going to make more "soon" (that was in Oct 2015). If you ask him via email, or on the Buckmark forum at RimfireCentral.com, he might make them sooner than later, especially if you let him know that yours is currently broken (I just want one in case mine breaks in the future).
Rusty22 has made them in the past, but I don't see them on his website (Rusty22.com) right now, and they weren't in his price list this past summer (2015). But it might be worth asking him if you can't find them elsewhere.
If you do find them, please let us know where.

Re: Pre 2000 Buckmark firing pin?
New style firing pin comes with new style slide and the ears on it to help cocking. Browning has all the part numbers to make the change.
I went this route when I could not find the old style firing pin.

Striplin Custom Guns now has them available (as of Jan 11, 2016).

I ordered 2, but as I haven't received them yet, I don't have a picture of them yet.
