Anyone use SNS bullets?
Wondering if anyone uses their coated LSWC coated for BE. I loaded some of their 9mm and was pleased with them and the cleanliness. I used Bullseye powder with them. I also have some of their .357/38 coated but haven't tried them. The prices seemed good and they literally shipped within an hour of placing the order. They were here FAST.

Also, to show how clueless I am, why do they not need a lube in the lower groove? I guess I assumed that the lube (red or blue or whatever) "sealed" somehow against the gas.

Re: Anyone use SNS bullets?
The coating is actually a fused powder coat "paint". This USUALLY seals the bore and provides enough lubricity so it doesn't lead.

No the coating is not paint but a polymer coating that is baked on I think this will explain

I have been using them for several years and they are very clean shooting

I have used SNS bullets, both with the traditional wax lube and the ones with the newer coating. I have always been pleased with their product and service.
I currently use Standard Bullet out of Des Plaines IL as he is local, cheaper for me due to that and the bullets perform very well. He does not have the same quality web site however so might be harder to deal with from a distance.
