No...Never considered one..Christopher Miceli wrote:No bullet dropper?
That's an early machine 1990 I think..rebuilt once.. New bearings and such.. It propelled me to High Master..My PPC shooting partner and I would drive to Johnson City to Widiners early each spring and purchase in the area of 40,000 bullets and components. 20,000 each.. We would team up on the 1050, and load 10,000 in a day..We shot a lot...!!!! You burn ammo faster in PPC. and more of it. We trained a lot..!! It was an obsession ..Shooting matches almost every weekend during the season.. It was big back then..Now it's dead in VA..
I had a CH Auto Champ before the 1050 that I bought from Paul Jones.. Long time ago..
Never had a Star..

I know Jim P from back in his PPC days.. When he comments on loading, it's usually safe to say, that he knows the subject at hand for a fact..

Nice! I'm seriously thinking on adding a 2nd 1050 so I have a large and small primer set up. No room for more than that right now.

With the knowledge & skill base on this forum it's hard not to.
I used to think I had the brain capacity of a green pepper plant, I've had to recalibrate.

And here I am thinking about a second 650 so I don't have to change primer sizes.

John,
Cecil was reputed, by himself, to have cast 1k bullets in an hour using a 10 cavity mold.....no word what was possible w/o time for beer, this would have put his talent to good use!
And how about $$ for this rather than the Winnebago!?!

I showed those pictures to my wife and she had a fit. Apparently she figures the only exercise I get is pulling that lever. And, I suspect the only time there is for her "me" time is when I am in there for hours and hours loading bullets for next week. So...back to the grind. It's a good thing I'm a little OCD and really like loading them and putting the bullets in neat little rows. Seriously. I'm not jealous...much.
