3D Printed Grip Review
I received a set of 3D printed grips today.
I asked Andrew if he could print a 1911 grip and angle for an IZH-46m. This wasn't listed on the website, but he said he could.
The grip is wonderful. I'll add some extra texture to it, and it will be perfect.

I was worried it would be much too far forward. It is forward of a 1911 but not too bad. I like it.
Because the angle is right, it feels like the same stabilizing muscles.

Re: 3D Printed Grip Review
Gentlemen,
Dewey, thank you for the kind words about the 3D-printed 1911 grip I made for your IZH-46.
Mr. Davis, if I may add something regarding the grip I made for Dewey, I included two tubes for receiving .38 slugs in the bottom of the grip. I believe Dewey will be able to stuff up to 6 rounds of additional weight inside the grip via those holes if he's like some weight at the back to help balance the gun.
I find myself doing this for lots of customers air guns for whom I make grips. Often guns we perceive as being too heavy can be improved by actually adding some weight at the rear to address the problematic balance issues. Air guns, with big cylinders and pump mechanisms out front, are particularly prone to this issue.
