North Carolina shooters
Just accepted a job down to Wilmington, NC in August. I know i'm not the shooting hot spot but looking to gather with others and finely be able to train and shoot in matches with others.
Also since i'm moving from Alaska to North Carolina on my own I liquidated all my reloading gear. Anyone having any loading parties I can get in on?
Additionally I plan on doing some service rifle shooting as well if anyone does that flopping on the ground stuff.
PS I plan on winning your matches and awards

I'm near RDU airport. I have a reloading set up that you can "borrow" from time to time.

Thanks Dewey, I'm planning to get setup with a press soon after moving down but you never know.

Good luck to you on your move I hope everything goes smooth for you. Just curious. Why would you leave Alaska ? I have always wanted to go to Alaska but just never got the opportunity.

Wilmington is a wonderful place to move. My wife and I love to visit there. Not much in the way of Bullseye matches, but only 2 1/2 to 3 hours from Sir Walter, Camp Butner(Eastern Games) and DPRC.
Anyone who does competitive shooting in the region knows Dewey. He's one of the most selfless people I've ever met, and has tutored countless shooters (including me).
I'm about 20 miles East of Raleigh, in Wendell. Give me a call and we'll hook up and put some holes in paper. I got a range on my property.

Re: North Carolina shooters
Welcome to North Carolina, even if the coast is a little out of the main bullseye area. Both the Durham Pistol & Rifle Club (www.dprc.org) where I am match director, and Sir Walter (www.sirwaltergunclub.com), where Cecil is match director, are about an equal distance for you. Both clubs run matches from March through October. The Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club (www.cr-pc.org) looks to be about 30 minutes farther, and runs matches March through November.
We have an active bullseye community in the state and I hope you will come join us at the matches. Let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Re: North Carolina shooters
Hi, I am also in Eastern NC and have just started shooting Bullseye. I am looking for more people to connect with and finding ranges that have Bullseye leagues.
Chris, you will like Wilmington, it's a laid back town. The temperature change from AK to NC is going to be, uh, interesting to say the least.
