You should consider doing a "how to" video series on how you set up, make, and fit a barrel.  Laughing

Or a whole series on a whole gun build but - I feel greedy asking for that.  Twisted Evil

Hi Jerry,

As an engineer, I love the way you solved the challenge!

I'm interested in the fact that you are cutting without oil.   Your other video appears to show how hot the turning is coming off the barrel blank as I see a bit of smoke (I doubt it is dust as your cutting tool is making a very clean spiral with -of course- no chatter).

What are your criteria for when you use oil?
