Hornady 200g short nosed SWCs?
I was given 1000 Hornady 200g lead SWCs. - Knurled-covered with waxy lube. -- Flat base-Short noses-like the Jacketed SWC match 185s. - A lot of bullet in contact w/ the rifling. -
Has anyone used these? - Load suggestions? -- -- Thanks, Russ
ps: A couple weeks ago I witnessed the grips and mainspring housing/sear spring removed, for the 1st time since 1972 from a regularly used, & competed with since 1972, wad gun. Owner said it was the 1st time ever these were removed from the pistol. - There was amber-like stuff under/in there. Only time I've seen that pistol alibi was from lead build up in the chamber.

I think I have some of these squirreled away. Not sure how many. Never loaded them; not sure where they came from. I was just doing ammo and component inventory today and saw the ammo can that contains them, but didn't open it up.
These are them, I think.
Be interested to see what suggestions you get.

Hope this helps,

Thanks Wes.
Sources indicate I have 1,600 of them. Might come in handy when the CA ammo ban goes into effect.
Now to figure out how 4.2 of Titegroup converts to 452AA
