Does anyone know what guns and sighting systems Hershel Anderson was using when he shot his 2680-159X? It seems to me (with my 60+ year old memory) that he was shooting revolvers with iron sights. Am I wrong?

he used a model 41 S&W and an AMU armorer built wadcutter 1911A1, probably with a bomar rib. it was 1974 so, of course, both had iron sights.

S&W M-41 7 3/8 Barrel with BoMar rear sight. 45 auto with BoMar rib with extended front sight, long trigger.
Score was fired in Nashville, TN. Hope this helps.
