155g SWCBB for short line?
I am about to put in next years' lead order from Magnus, anyone tried those 155gr for short line? Recoil is the enemy.. they look promising.

Buy a small amount (500) to try first.

Any suggested loads for this bullet? I won a box at a match recently.

Send a query to John Bickar. He had a load for these somewhere. They need to be driven faster to get reliability.

I have been using the Valiant 160 gr over 4.2 Bullseye and 4.4 WST with good results. Very light recoil.

If it's the same as the Quality Cast/Valiant 160, 4.3 of 452AA is what I shoot.
I just ran out of the last of my QC and just started into my stash of Valiants, and noticed no difference. Dave Salyer swears by the Valiant 160s; I haven't seen anything yet to make me disagree. However, I've only shot 40 rounds so far.

the lighter the bullet the hotter you must load it, ive shot thousands of the vallant 160s and they do well if pushed fast enough but they recoil about the same as a 185 also they are not suited for long line unless inspected, sorted and weighed

I tried some of the 160 vallants and ended up just going back to lightly loaded 200 gr... couldn't tell much difference in recoil like David said ..
