Chipping Away At It
Shot a 292 with the RO/Nelson and a 289 with the RO/45. I was very pleased with the 45 scores. I noticed the trigger finger will steers the gun ... Sort of I guess. That's how it felt today at least. All irons. Wadcutter loads in the 45.
My goal is to shoot the one frame a 3.75 # for now with slab sides and irons for both 22 and 45 so I get used to the trigger and the feel of a 45. Then come time for service pistol or hard ball I won't be in too bad of shape.

Excellent shooting.
My first outing w/my LB/Nelson was 272. Hoping to raise that up next week.
Question for you- What are you eating for breakfast? Your scores are off the hook.

I eat cereal for breakfast. Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Frosted Flakes, Fruity Pebbles, etc. Then toast or a bagel but not always. I work at a warehouse all day and have a sandwich for lunch or soup. Then a granola bar and water and hit the firing line for practice lasting anywhere from one to two maybe two and half hours. This is a typical Tuesday, and/or Wednesday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday I practice for two hours minimum in the morning. And my schedule does not chance rain or shine. Got to be used to all conditions.
Keep in mind my 292, and 289 are just three targets with the 22 and three targets with the 45. Bullseye is an endorance match and you gotta hold through 27 targets. That ain't no joke!
