How many are enough?
I know you can shoot 2700 with two guns but whats the fun in that? How may bullseye guns do you have. I have not even shot my first match and I am thinking about how many different bullseye guns I can justify.
Right now Smith 41 and Ruger MKII back up. I am shopping for a 1911. Of course I will need a wad gun and a hardball gun. Oh and a Mid-range, maybe a sub caliber 1911 or a 52 or possibly a revolver. hmmmmmm.

Ah yes, the backups. What a wonderful excuse to own more firearms.

Re: How many are enough?
When I was competing regularly and took in big matches, I used to have back-up guns. I tried to duplicate the primary gun as closely as possible. I only used the back-up guns a few times, when I sent the primary off for work. It was a comforting feeling to step on the line at Perry and have a twin in the gun box, ready to be pressed into service.BryanGA wrote:I know you can shoot 2700 with two guns but whats the fun in that? I have 2 modified M41's that are my main .22's
Two accurized Colt Series 70 Wad guns that are mainstays.
One series 70 accurized ball gun
then just for fun.
1911 platform 9mm
Pardini .32
S&W 52
2 High Standard Victors
K-Frame .22 and .38
and I just came across a Rock River Wad gun......
I'm sick and know I need help....just not right now.
