Wilson Combat Grip Safety
Has anyone tried using a Wilson Combat "drop-in" grip safety on a Springfield Mil Spec frame? Or might have a picture of it? I have a Mil Spec I'm going to be working into something more target related but was curious about the "drop-in" part vs having to fit one.

Unless your hand is being bitten or eaten from hammer or slide I recommend leaving well enough alone until you fit a beavertail grip safety. You will not benefit from a higher grip because it's just a continuation of standard tang.

It's more of a comfort thing. The standard grip safety is narrow and the web of my hand isn't getting beat up but the grip safety on my RO is definitely more comfortable. It's just a comfort thing I seek not a higher grip.

Sounds like your frame needs to be blended with your grip safety. On many of the older guns they are ill fitting and will tear your hand up. I work on a lot of guns that the frame protrudes out past the grip safety. I can't believe how many shooters will leave it like that and not have it blended for comfort.
