I would shoot it for awhile before you change it. My grip has evolved to need the longer trigger. My old grip used to have a hunk of the heel of my hand behind the backstrap, but the recoil would make that slide to the side...now that is all on the side all the time and my grip stays consistent in tf & rf.

I have small hands and a flat main spring housing and a short trigger are necessary for me to get direct rearward pressure on the trigger.

Joe that is the one I put on the .22 1911 clone I just sold. I will go ahead and order it. I will also need some mags.

The Greider trigger is a good choice. Dave Salyer turned me onto them. Metalform mags with fixed bases are both economical and reliable. Get the ones with the rounded followers. Colt magazines replaced with rounded followers work for me also.
