Yes, but certainly not on firearms!

These forums have very many possibilities once the administrator has time to set up the forum, it needs to be set up with categories and then you place the topics pertaining to those in each. then sticky subjects can be listed. Im sure it will all come together but it takes a lot of time and work to get everything set up.

4.8gr WSF, VVN330, or VVN340
Starline brass
Almost any primer
1.120-1.135"
.377 crimp

These work great in my Berettas.

I like the 45 acp load with the 230 fmj bullet, 4.5 grains Bullseye Powder.
The new Bullseye has been on the store shelves for 5 years or so, so unless you are using some real old stuff, you have the new.

.45: Win 230 FMJ (1.265 COL)/4.9 Titegroup clocks 800 fps from my Mil-Spec, groups 1.7" off sandbags.
Berry's, Rainier and Rem clock same, groups not as tight but cheaper and OK for TF & RF. Hornady did not seem to group sufficiently tighter to justify the higher price.
9mm: Win 124 FMJ (1.150)/ 4.8 WSF clocks 1065 (subsonic) from M9 with Bar-Sto match barrel, 2.4" 25-yd groups.

Wadcutters:
.38 Special:Hornady 148 HBWC (flush with case mouth)/3.0 Titegroup clocks 815 from S&W K-38, groups 1.8"
Hornady 158 SWC (1.455)/3.5 Titegroup clocks 805 from K-38, 2.0" 25-yd groups
158 SWC load more easily than 148 WC for TF and RF stages
.45 Auto: Hornady 200 C/T (1.200)/4.6 Titegroup clocks 800 from Mil-Spec.

I use 3.8 of Clays under a 200 grain LSWC for my wad gun across the course; I've been thinking about 3.5 at the short line.

For ball, I've been using 6.1 of Power Pistol. Thinking about switching to Unique for that one.

In looking to purchase a hardball bullet I discovered an interesting fact. Many folks that have tried to find the Zero Bullet 230g FMJ round nose find them "out of stock" If you go the the Zero Bullet web site it re-directs you to "Roze Distribution" to purchase. I found same thing "out of stock" but decided to place an order anyway. I had the order filled the next week. They cost about $125 for a thousand count box.

Roze is owned by zero and is their retail outlet for zero bullets. Zero itself only sells to dealers.

I believe Zero was shut down for a while from the tornados and storms that ripped through the area. I heard they were back up and running. my guess is production is their top priority and updating the website no so critical.

Not a crappy plated bullet unless you're not going to
shoot the long line.

A good load i ransomed was Vit 320, 5 grains, factory round OAL and crimp with Sierra 230 fmj, it tested 3'' out of a 5'' kart barrel. 4.5 gr, for short line. Also we tested American Eagle factory 230 and it did about 4'' which isn't bad for cheap factory ammo.

There are so many loads and so many variables. The load I use may not work in your gun! I was using 4.0 BE under 200gr LSWC for long line and 185gr LSWC for short. Never had to adjust the dot. A friend of mine was doing just the opposite 185 LSWC long line and 200 short, never had to adjust the scope but thats what worked for him and his gun.

I noticed that Big Lots has a Pen style applicator filled with WD40.
The advertising slogan was "WD40 just where you need it" It had a picture of WD40 being applied to the crank handle of a fishing reel. Application was thru a sponge: cannister was not an aresol can. Price was $1.20.

My .45 Hardball load is 4.3 gn. BE over a Sierra 230 gn. Roundnose
My .38 load looks to be 3.3 gn. of Solo 1000 over a home cast 158 gn. SWC. See my report in "Reloading"

The best place for WD40 is all over the outside of your gunbox to repel the Camp Perry wind and rain. Gun Box is less likely to blow off the bench at Perry due to the decrease in wind resistence against your gun box.

All my Bullseye powder is over 5 years old. I thought you were talking about the change in Bullseye back around 1965. I didn't know about a recent change

Hardball - Rem 230gr RN, 4.2gr TiteGroup, Win Primer, 1.265 OAL
Wad Load - Well cast/swaged LSWC, 4.2gr TiteGroup, Win Primer, .469" crimp
.38spl - Cast/swaged LSWC, 3.1gr 231, Fed Primer.

Over the years I've discovered just about any well made bullet groups well. It's trigger control that puts them in the 10 ring.

I tried a load that Neil of NSK recommended to me:

230g Zero FMJ, 4.2g N310; COL 1.26"

In Ransom Rest testing they shot 10 ring at 50yds.

The part I liked best was how light a load they were - recoil was barely more than my wadgun load.

For the 1911 Ball gun:
I like 4.8 Titegroup for the long line and 4.4 Titegroup for the short.
