New guy from Pa.
Hi everyone,
Currently shooing CMP service rifle. I have 4 points to go for my D.R. badge so been thinking about Bullseye pistol.
Located in Western Pa.
Self employed machine shop owner in the business of race car engines and race parts manufacturing.
my previous ''bad habit'' before shooting was a 30+ year drag racing career.
Shot my first indoor bullseye match 2 weeks ago... an indoor .22 fun league. I have a lot to learn

Welcome to bullseye Tom. The leagues are how I started too. Took me 6-7 years before I ever shot a real 2700. I would recommend you do not wait that long. This sport is challenging but rewarding as you achieve your goals. Enjoy yourself.

The best way to learn it is to just go shoot it.

Welcome! I too shoot CMP Service Rifle with one hand and Bullseye pistol with the other. They do seem to go "hand in hand".

I always enjoy a good challenge and this certainly seems like a one Plus what can be bad about an excuse to shoot a 1911 pistol

Yeah but I think Phil used up all the shooting talent in the family. Maybe get to meet him someday

Thanks for the info on the matches.
It is my understanding that the club where I've shot the indoor .22 matches also has outdoor full distance matches. The club is Tarentum District Sportsman.
