200 gn shoots left - 185 gn shoots right...
I think I finally figured out what is going on with my Clark 1911. For the past few months it seems I have to adjust the windage on the scope. Today I was doing some training and noticed once again that my gun was shooting left about 2 clicks during slow fire. During timed/rapid fire, the gun shoots to the right about 2 clicks. Just a few nights earlier, the zero seemed fine at 50 feet (today's shooting was at 75 feet).
Well, after some experimenting, I was able to shoot on center with either my slow fire load (200 gn SWC) or on center with my sustained fire load (185 gn HNSWC). If I stick with one or the other, I can set zero and shoot on center.
For indoor I can easily stick with 185 HNSWC bullets and leave zero alone. When I get out to do some outdoor 50 yard shooting, I will have to re-test and figure out what to do. I was planning on switching to Nosler jacketed hollow points so that will probably be the time to do the test.
Just seems strange that everything else being the same, that the bullets would cause the gun to shoot left or right of zero.

Not uncommon for me anyway.
From 50 yd I have to go down and right and that is a 185g jacketed to a 185g swaged.
I guess that it is something to do with the way a particular bullet hits the lands for a particular barrel.

From a pure diagnostic viewpoint, and assuming your rounds are hitting at 9:00 and 3:00 just outside the black, I would say this:
9:00 hits during slow fire indicates breaking the wrist.
3:00 timed and rapid fire indicates thumbing.
A good pistol coach can watch and help you correct both, which are common bullseye problems.
