Lucked Out

Lucked out CZ Customs wanted that 52-2 a lot more then I do and out bid me with a $1625 bid.  it was a very nice used gun but not $1650 nice for me to up the bid.  Guess I am back looking.  Don

That's awesome. I was bidding on two 25-2's. Won the one I really wanted, thought I was going to get stuck with the second(not the worst thing that could happen) and someone outbid me right at the end. Whew. Good deals on 52-2's aren't that uncommon. You'll get one.

I used to live on the S&W forum till I started this BE stuff last December.  Might know who it is I will go look.  I am bidding again on another 52-2 that has everything but the rear sight which is not a problem.  I am winning at $625 but will to go $900 if I have to.  Hope maybe $750 which sounds about right.  I doesn't look as nice as the other one but I don't have to buy mags and a tool.  Don

There are often model 52's on Rockisland auctions, not always the best price but often several to choose from.

Still winning on one but there is still 3 days to go.  Seams like people are willing to pay $1800 to $2000 for a used one that don't even have all the stuff.  I don't want to go cheap and get a total junker that I have to hope to get parts for.  Parts are going for petty high prices to.  lost a auction on a nice mag that went for $130 and I had a $128 bid in when I went to bed.  I won't have paid more then $130 anyway.  Don

I messaged him about functioning, he replied it was a "safe queen" and he never fired it. I sent him my phone number to discuss the pistol, he has not replied to any more of my messages. That has raised the red flag for me.

Well the one I got out bid on went for $1800 and it was gun and one mag with none of the other stuff.  I quit biding at $1600.  Don
