IverJohnson lower
I have a Nelson 22 conversion coming soon. I was looking for a complete lower. I was wandering your thoughts on an IverJohnson complete lower Roth a trigger job.
Do you think that would work?

Re: IverJohnson lower
Conversions are forgiving in that they will fit almost any frame with no issues. Where they are not forgiving is getting 2# trigger pulls easily. They cycle extremely fast and hammers and sears have to be just right. If the frame holes for hammer and sear are off which is common on inexpensive frames, you will have to compensate. I say go for it!

Is that something a master gunsmith like you could fix?

Would it be worth the extra 200+ to get a Springfield lower?

Jon, after having seen an Iver Johnson lower. I'd pass on it. No matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd. Talk to me at the clinic at the end of the month.

Jon just put your chest waders back on you guy do a great job. My cousin joined the USCG when I joined the Navy we both ended up in VN. But then what does a couple guys from NW Iowa know about saltwater. I I was a duck hunter so knew a lot about waders. Like the water is always deeper then the top of them on your next step. There's nothing quite like having you waders filling with water before sun up holding a shotgun

It is even more fun when you waded out breaking ice then clearing a open spot for the decoys and the ice makes it's way into the waders with the water. I have sit on a muskrat house and drained the warer out before. Donjglenn21 wrote:There's nothing quote Like having you waders filling with water before sun up holding a shotgun
