How low can I go?
I currently use 4.5gr WST with the Zero 185gr JHP and use it for 50 yards and EIC. I'm curious how low others have gone with that bullet. I'm planning on trying them out down to say 4gr?

3.8 of Bullseye and Nosler 185 JHP will work at 25-yd. It's not as soft shooting as 3.8 and 185 LSWC, but ain't bad. I have not tried it at 50, but it should be fine.
4-4.2 BE is nice as well. does fine at 25/50
4.5+ BE is not good for much IMHO except 50-yd SF, too much recoil, unless you like recoil
Not really basing my opinions on Ransom Rest accuracy, just pleasant-ness of shooting. I think you can convert WST to equivalent-ish BE loads with about 5-10% change.
So 4gr of WST and 3.8 of BE should be close.
YMMV, but basically, you can drop it down safely from my experience

Re: How low can I go?
I am running 4.9gr WST under a Nosler 185 JHP @ 50yds. Anything less or more opens my group. I run 4.3gr WST under Zero 185 LSWCHP on the short line. 4.6gr WST works well under 160gr Valiants on the short line.

You must be running a full size Ultra Dot and a 10lb recoil spring. I'm running an Aimpoint Micro and a 13lb spring.

Close, U D and a 9lb spring. I'm ordering if the 4.5gr WST 185gr zero might be beating up the gun with that setup

Re: How low can I go?
WST, you get unburned powder at 3.8. The powder is more inverse temperature sensitive than VV310. It is a touch slower than BE and soft shooting
I load 185gn SWC/LSWC at just under 4.1 in the summer and 4.2 in the winter. Using a 200gn LSWC you can get down to 4.0.
You can go under 4.0 but I believe there too much sacrifice in terms of function and accuracy. I also suggest that WST is an amazingly clean burning powder and when you go under 4.0 its not as clean.
