Anyone seen the "new" RRA wadcutter pistols?
Seems like I heard that RRA showed their "new" production wadcutter 1911's at the NRA convention. Anyone get to see them and compare to old production models?
I currently have a frame mount Les Baer. I'm having Jon make me a ground up custom with a slide mount. I was going to keep the Les Baer as a practice and backup pistol but I'm thinking it may be nice to have 2 slide mounts so they both feel the same. I've been looking at modified Range Officers and the RRA is on my radar as well.

Oh and I did check with RRA and they are currently not in production, they are waiting to get some machinery setup, they don't have a lead time yet but are taking pre-order.

Well I did stop by at the show and talked with Mark Ziegenbein who is the Pistol shop manager. He mentioned to me that he had around 10 pistol built and just needed to install ribs or sights on them
Very nice pistols based on the 3 or 4 that were on the table.

Sounds like the sales lady wasn't fully informed.

Maybe you let it slip that you had a Les Baer. There aren't warm and fuzzy feelings between Rock River and Les Baer.zanemoseley wrote:Sounds like the sales lady wasn't fully informed.
