Old Model 41?

Hi Folks,

New member here; I like what I see so far.  By way of introduction, I'm a master high power shooter who went inactive in the 1990's because work got in the way.  Now I'm interested in competitive shooting again, and am drawn to BE.  At this time I'm not shooting competitively, just practicing.

My Model 41 serial number does not fit the Roy Jinks list.  The earliest numbers, beginning in 1958, have five digits.  Mine is a four-digit number starting with 4.  Have you any idea when it was made?

Thank you.  I guess that means my gun was made in 1957 or 1958.
