I have been trying to do my dry fire exercises everyday and today I shot a personal best on a B-8 target at 25 yards with my .22.  Shot a 295/300 with 10X's as well as a 292 5X.  The best part was that every shot was a 9 or better, I tend to always have an 8 or two. I have a long way to go on the 50 yard line but it sure is fun to have a good day and make some progress.

I find the whole mental process interesting, trying to keep the brain from bouncing around and sticking to the task at hand is a challenge, a few weeks ago the first 5 shots I shot all where X's and I got excited and it went down hill from there:)

I know the feeling.  Eight Xs at 50y with no scoping or even thinking scoping.  Scoped.  No more Xs after that.  It wasn't the scoping exactly.  It was how I responded to the scoping.  Or maybe the new at the time thought of scoping after 8 in the first place.

It is so hard to refind that zone.  Been trying for decades.  I guess I have lost my innocence.
