Adding weight to Ruger 22/45
First topic message reminder :
It has a dot on it and shot my first league 22 match last night. It felt nose heavy to me. I know you can buy aftermarket frames but thats not in the budget anytime soon. Any other way to add weight to make it not so nose heavy?
On a side note, I am now hooked on Bullseye. Good God was that a fun night.
Thanks Gents

reminds me of a guy that I watched shoot a silhouette match once,
he used a contender in 22lr, match barrel,
and a rifle scope,
taco hold the pistol and he was deadly (to the silhouettes) with it
Re: Adding weight to Ruger 22/45
I had the idea to add weight to both my 22 and 45. I figured it would make my hold steady and reduce the recoil. I believe its done both. I was at the hardware the other day and noticed Tungston weights for Pinewood derby cars. A little JB weld and there it is. First match with the 45 I went from no Xs to seven. I'm just a beginner but thats a big deal for me

I had to look up "taco grip." I first thought you had posted a typo. Now I'm aware of a grip I had not heard of before. And I'm hungry.
