So very sorry.  Jerry's comments inspired me to build my first fast twist 9mm and he donated a 10-twist barrel blank to the project to make it happen.  Great gunsmith and guy.

I'm sad for his passing.  Jerry left a large positive imprint on the world, I hope his family finds comfort in knowing that.

A man’s legacy are the people who will mourn his passing.  Jerry’s is a large legacy indeed.

I couldn't say it better if I tried, so I won't.

His friendship, skill and exceptional ability to explain technical issues in understandable terms will be missed. He was a shining example of what is best about our sport.

I never met the man but he took the time and spent the effort to explain many of the finer points of M52's and revolver function to me when I was a Marksman/Sharpshooter. As others have mentioned he was able to explain complex principles in terms comprehensible to a layman. Truly a master of his craft.

Thank you Jerry for the vast wealth of knowledge you were so kind to share with us, RIP the shooting community will miss you greatly.
