Greetings,

Does anyone have a copy of the Match Bulletin?

I would like to receive a PDF of the results of this historic event.

Most likely, others would too.

Cheers,

Dave

I'd always heard it was fired on the old NGMTU range at the airport in Nashville.  He lives down here in Tennessee.  Ask Terry Labbe.  He knows it all.  I've heard Terry say that the score would have been significantly better than 2680 had Hershel not choked on the last rapid fire target.

The range equipment it was shot was moved to matchmasters in Columbia Tn and is still in use today.

That stuff at Columbia is the range hardware from Nashville...  Those of you that never got to shoot there missed a good one.    It was virtually like shooting indoors.

I was chatting with Herschel several years ago when he returned to Camp Perry with the "Over the Hill" team.  He told me he hadn't realized how good his aggregate was until someone told him just before his last .45 RF.  He "choked" and shot a 95 for his final target.  I'm even more impressed that this score was shot with IRON SIGHTS.
