Remington 148 HBWC in stock at Midway

Out of curiosity, are the Remington 148 gr HBWC considered better bullets?  I used to buy Rose (ZERO) swaged HBWC (they still sell them), have bought some Precision Delta bullets, and noticed Magnus sells some swaged 148gr HBWC 38's.

Yep.   These are the bullets Zero and Precision Delta wish they could be.

Messy to reload, but a very accurate bullet.  My Clark .38 likes them and Hornady's bullet.

.360 is a tad on the large side?

The skirt on the hollow base is .360, I assume to better guarantee sealing the bore from gasses.
Generally considered the most accurate .38 hbwc bullet available.

crap I just seen this and they are out of stock, I really wanted to try them. I don't suppose any of you guys that got 2000 would care to sell about a 100 of them ?

Almost as good as a well made cast WC bullet.

Actually, to my surprise this shipment came with clear wax like lube instead of dry graphite flakes, almost as clean as the Zeros. Remington brand is the best out of all .38 hbwc bullets, IMO and I did try them all out.

Sounds like an improvement to me. 45-45-10 perhaps ?

Sounds like Remmy changed them, are they the same size as the old ones and do they shoot as well?

Mine, that I got last month, still had the black graphite lube.

Those were probably Jerry Keefer's order already cleaned in gasoline and tumble lubed.

Mucho better product to work with. Now the price will go up !

Mine arrived an hour ago. They have the new lube.......... Can't wait to try them out.

Pretty is as pretty does.   Could care less what they look like as long as they shoot well.

Well, opened mine up, same ol greasy black bullets. ran some thru Naptha to clean of the gunk.
weights range from 148.10-148.90
I think there's a wax beneath the black graphite gunk.
measure the same, .360-361 all except the .356 nose.

I think my lot # is 23562

I believe 23562 is the Remington part # for rhis bullet, my box has the same number.
