Speer also makes a swaged 148 hbwc.

I had good success with Precision Delta, it was the most accurate out of all bullets I tried (except Remington), but it leaves a lot of lead in my model 52 barrel, so I stopped using it and switched to Remington, now my barrel is very clean, but I'm still tuning my load for better accuracy.

Remington for the long and short line.
Remington for the long line and Speer or Hornady for the short line.
Just my experience.

Remington's are no longer available ,
Zeros tend to lead
The .358 hornadys with the graphite lube are better .

REMINGTON ARE THE BEST.
THEY ARE AVAILABLE, BUT FREQUENTLY ON BACK ORDER.

I just received 2,000 Remington's from Midway. Forgot I had even back-ordered them.
Rather heavy lube on them.

Which is one reason they shoot great.

Re: 148 gr 38 wc's ?
Just received my case of 2000 Remington bullets this morning. Sadly, I have a strong feeling this is the last one, there will be no more. Oh well...
Re: 148 gr 38 wc's ?
PD uses 2 kinds of lube on the 148's. Be sure to order the bullets w/ match lube, $4 or $5 more but not nearly as messy!javaduke wrote:I had good success with Precision Delta, it was the most accurate out of all bullets I tried (except Remington), but it leaves a lot of lead in my model 52 barrel, so I stopped using it and switched to Remington, now my barrel is very clean, but I'm still tuning my load for better accuracy.
