If you can find one at $280 95% NM, jump on it.

It's hard to say what would be to much, the MKII has been out of production for a while now, and they seem to be getting harder to find as time goes on. I have a MKIII, originally wanted an MKII, but could not find one in decent shape for a price I could live with. From what I have seen on Gunbroker, and Rimfire Central, anything under $300.00 would be a great price, assuming it was in decent condition. I have seen the 5.5 blue bull bbl sell for up to $350. The price can very a lot depending on the model, certain configurations of the gun where not produced in large numbers, and that drives the price up. If it is something your sure you want, and it is in good condition, I don't think paying up to $350.00 is a bad deal, for say a 5.5 blued bull bbl. A new MKIII 22/45 is still under $300.00 I think, but like I said before, they aren't making them any more, and it seems there are a lot of people willing to pay top dollar for them.
