Travis Strahan
Hello Everyone,
It is my sad duty to inform you all that long time great gunsmith Travis Strahan has passed. He left this world on April 12, 2018. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and their children and grandchildren. For those of you who did not know Travis; he was a very good gunsmith with both the 1911 and revolver. He was the inventor of the Accu-lock 1911 pistol and has several patents in his name. His revolver work was legendary in the PPC world. He will be missed by many. Those who never got to meet him should ask some of the older shooters about him: there will be many stories.
RIP Travis,
Jim Good

Sad news. RIP Mr Stahan. It's disheartening to hear of the loss of another master of the trade. Sure seems like ranks are thinning.

I am so sorry to hear that. As Army Reserve shooter, he took care of me and my guns when he didn't really have to.
