hola, my next 2700 will be outdoors with the 50 yard long line, yea! I’ve been indoors all year shooting at 25 yards. I probably won’t get a chance to sight in at 50. Is there a general point above where I’m sighted at 25y that will be close at 50? Example: if say 4” above target center at 25y is close to center at 50y and I adjust my sights x clicks to get there, I can use, or start, with the same adjustment when I’m shooting at 50y? I’m talking about my 45, I’ve heard the 22 is close to the same poi at both distances.
Thanks!

Are you using a red dot? What brand?

I’m going to shoot irons on both pistols this season.

It really depends on the circumstances. Irons or dot, how fast are you pushing the bullet, and how far does one click really move your impact area (so manufacturer of the sighting system).

For me I shoot a relatively light load with a dot. I have to come down 7 clicks on my Ultradot when I need to change from 50 yards to 25 yards. On my 22 typically you can get by with no change but if it’s slower ammunition maybe one or two clicks might be useful. With irons on a 45, if the ammunition is with in the realm of “typical target velocity” (don’t ask me - I have no idea) then I hear it’s common for 4 or 5 clicks. Sometimes 6 clicks. Depends on your hold too. Sub-six hold? Center hold? True 6 o’clock hold?

For the 45 I’d try going up 5 clicks and see what happens. What’s your load?

3-5 clicks up, as a starting point, from 25 to 50 with iron sights, yeah.

Remember that the value of a "click" is precisely equal to one click, plus or minus one click.

You should be on the repair center. Have fun and enjoy the experience!
