Does anyone sell replacement followers for the Ace magazines? I have several that I modified for a Marvel conversion and now I would like to have them back in stock condition to use with a Nelson.

Hello,
There are lots of counterfeit "Colt" magazines floating around eBay. Just because it has a hallmark stamped on the base plate does not make it really from Colt. Buyer beware.

Hello Christian,
You really need a Colt collector to chime in but from what I have been told you need to look at things like: how the base plate attaches, the thickness of the tube, the finish/polish, the hallmark (with the pony and without). Last week I saw a magazine for sale that only had "22" stamped on the base plate....not a Colt. There's plenty on the web about identifying and dating Colt magazines.
