RMR on a wad gun?
First topic message reminder :
I don't see any wad guns with an RMR red dot, just Ultradots. The latter are so much heavier, I wonder what's the reason for the use of the Ultradots over the RMR's for bullseye.

Re: RMR on a wad gun?
Thanks for the suggestion Chris. KC is a fine person and supper gunsmith, but rather far away.
Has not been simple to find someone who can mill back of slide and who is not too far away. Fit is so important - especially to one who is strength-limited - that a need for eye-to-eye probably exists.
Those many on here who have the skill, experience, and strength to overcome fit limitations are fortunate.

Check with Don Williams at The Action Works. He's an artist with HP's and 1911's.Mac2 wrote:Thanks for the suggestion Chris. KC is a fine person and supper gunsmith, but rather far away.

The slide alone might fit into the USPS $8.00 "If it fits, it ships" small box.Chris Miceli wrote:just ship it to him. Its just a slide so its not a firearm and can be sent usps to save $Mac2 wrote:Thanks for the suggestion Chris. KC is a fine person and supper gunsmith, but rather far away.
