Aside from moving the little step looking piece, how else do you increase trigger poundage on a S&W Model 41?

I increased mine by bending the sear (torsion) spring out some.  Making a new (stiffer) spring was a consideration, but just bending out the legs a bit got me to 2.75 lb.  The trigger return spring ramp (what S&W considers the adjustment) was set at maximum before bending the sear spring.
