WST Equivalent - Page 2 Empty WST Equivalent

Post by tceva 8/6/2018, 4:09 am

First topic message reminder :

Yesterday I had a revelation about cleaning up my act.  What would be the WST equivalent to 3.9g of Bullseye?
Thanks in advance

Alex, I do notice a change when using N310 in cold weather.  I do not change charge weight.  I try to keep the ammo in the pocket.

At my match last Saturday after each string I would load my magazines and put them in my pocket with a couple hand warmers that you can buy for a dollar. After scoring, by the time the command to load was given, my magazines were quite warm.

I worked up to the load that TCEVA got in the pictured group, it is what my wad guns(4 of them liked), one was 4.8. Using Winchester primers is important since they are hotter then other standard primers by about .3 grains of WST.
With H&G 68 bullets start at 3.8 for 50 ft or 25 yards. Till I found this load at 50 yards it was 4.2 WST with H&G 68s at 50 yards, I wore out a set of Ransom Rest inserts through the years developing 50 yard loads and this was the best results.
In the winter I did as messenger said keeping my rounds warm.
I tried many powders and always went back to WST.
888 at Camp Perry
893 at local match(National Record)
At this point I am retired from Bullseye but have 40 years at the game.
