Problems with 2-year old SWFA order
To my utter surprise I received a set of rings that I had attempted to order in 2016 (out of stock). Honestly, I don't remember if I checked the "cancel order" box.
When I contacted SWFA, I was told that they had the wrong email address on file (I assume my fault), but the alarming point is they went ahead a filled the order without actually hearing from me to see if I still wanted those rings 2 years later (I'm patient but not that darn patient). And they had my phone number on file. The final charge was over $100; but, as a one-time courtesy, they refunded my credit card when return shipment of the rings was confirmed. I should add they provided a return label. So is this no harm, no foul? Absolutely not.
This is the first time I've ever had anything remotely like this happen with any firearm related product. I've cancelled my account with them. I likely could have sought legal recourse but since I live in Florida and they are in Texas, what is the point? They ultimately did the right thing. Not an example of customer service. As a safety practice, I ask that my credit cards not be kept on file with any business. dipnet

Legal recourse lol. For what,, filling an order? Sure they could have called to make sure you still wanted the rings but in their defense you had an order placed and sounds as if you never attempted to cancel it. Sounds like they did the right thing by giving a prompt refund and paying for return shipping.

Ok, I’m curious. What legal recourse would you seek after they sent you abreturn label and refunded your money? I must be missing something?

Sir:
It seems to me that you left yourself wide open to attack. I am sure that there are lots of companies that would love to have your business. And most will probably not refund your money.

FYI
Not sure what credit card you have but any transaction over a set amount (I set the limit) and I get a text my card is being used and I have this on all my cards. I believe most cards have this feature today.
Now as far as what transpired their bad for filling the order, someone didn't look at the date, but it was resolved correctly. To me that was good customer service.
Your (over) reaction, well I hope you were being sarcastic about legal action
