racking slide with ultradot?
I just installed a 1" UD on the slide of my Les Baer Premier II. What is the best technique for racking the slide or doing a press check with this set up? Should I just grab the UD and yank the slide to the rear? Would doing this disturb the sight's zero? Before the UD I would just grab the slide with my left hand over the rear iron sight with thumb and finger pressure on the rear serrations, but can't do this now. Since I'm getting old and have some arthritis in my hands a chamber check was a two handed affair with my left hand under the slide with thumb and fingers on the front serrations. My right hand gripped the pistol with fingers over the rear sight and slide. Both operations are a little more difficult for me because of the tight bushing/bbl fit. Just wondering what other slide mounted UD users do.
Thanks,
Kim

Jon built my 45. I just push on the front of the scope and rack it. Never lost a zero for it.

Thanks guys. Now that I've thought about it for a while, there really aren't any other options but grabbing the scope.
